Suburban couple brings orange tabby cat to dog park, dog "Gozer" gets intrigued, couple tries to tell off owner but he stands his ground: 'What a stupid idea it was to bring a cat to a dog park'

When having a pet, you have to be ultra responsible. A cat is easier to care for, but even they have needs that don't just go away when you want them to. And a dog is even more responsibility. Dogs have been domesticated, but sometimes we forget their size, their nature, and where they come from. They do have that violent and animalistic nature in them, and the teeth and claws to do damage. 

A cat, though more capricious and moody in nature, simply isn't large enough to do real damage. In the story below, the protagonist is a man who's a regular at the local dog park, and claims the vibe there is a pleasant energy, filled with respectful regulars. One day, a new couple shows up not only with an aggressive Pitbull (sorry Pitbull's), but also with an orange tabby cat. For the sake of the cat, it seems awfully uneducated and blindly dangerous to bring a cat to a dog park, but read the full story to find out what happens.

  • It's so shocking to read stories like these. It's not just stupid of this couple, but it's really putting everyone there in danger. Not every dog there will be accustomed to the cat, and it's unpredictable how they'll react. Luckily, nothing horrible happened, but you really never know.
